The Hanover Thunder organization is made up of 2 competitive girls fastpitch softball teams…
Hanover Thunder Red, a first-year 16U team, is managed by David Whitlock. The team has been together for over 4 years and have established themselves as one of the nation’s best. In 2005, they won 2 tournaments and won 4 out of 10 tournaments entered in 2006. In 2007, they compiled 60-16-2 record with 10 top-2 finishes including 4 tournament victories. Last year (2008), the Thunder Red completed a historic season, compiling over 60 wins, 10+ tournament championshsips, including winning the USSSA World Series Championship in Orlando …
Hanover Thunder Blue, a second-year 14U team, managed by Mark Berry, have also had tremendous success. Thunder Blue team won 3 of 4 tournaments in 2005 (10U) and added another 3 tournament championships in 2006. In 2007, they compiled 50 wins and won 2 tournaments. In first year 14U in 2008, the Thunder won 52 games (against only 17 defeats) and won 6 of 14 tournaments including a 19 game win streak...
