USSSA Fall Challenge

November 1-2 in Ashland (Poor Farm Park)

         After cruising through 3 pool-play games on Saturday and winning 2 on Sunday to reach the finals, the Thunder matched up with a familiar rival in the Virginia Classics — as described below, the game was an “Instant Classic” with the Thunder prevailing in the 7 inning battle.  The tournament win was the 3rd straight for the Thunder who have won 16 consecutive games during that stretch!  The Thunder complete their 2008 season with a trip to Myrtle Beach at the end of November...
