Hanover
Thunder Blue Battles Against Strong
Tournament Field
At Petersburg Sports Complex, Thunder
– Blue placed 3rd in the 4 team
tournament. The team played a
strong Hanover Diamond team losing
twice, and also played a Diamond Crusher
team that was solid. The Thunder
earned 2 wins against the East Orange
Sting including a win in the 3rd place
game on Sunday.
For the tournament, Thunder Blue went
2-3 and batted 0.300. Thunder Blue
battled tough against teams that will be
moving up to 14U in the Fall.

Individual
Highlights:
| Courtney D was solid behind
the plate and contributed 3 RBIs and
4 scored runs. |
| Lynnse C hit an incredible
0.727 (8 for 11) including 2 doubles
and a HR. |
| Lindsey N scored 3 runs and
had 3 RBIs including a HR. |
| Taylor D gave up only 1-run
while pitching 5 innings and busted
out 6 RBIs to lead the team. |
| Kelly H hit a triple
driving in 2-runs in 1 official
at-bat on Sunday. |
| Shawna K was once again
solid in the field and hit an
excellent 0.545 (6 for 11) including
a double and 3 runs scored. |
| Madison C scored 2 to go
along with 2 RBI -- with 3 walks she
had an OBA of 0.400. |
| Brianna J had a couple of
put-outs in left field and scored 3
runs for the weekend. |
| Ashley B hit the ball well
over the weekend and did an
outstanding job playing center for
the Thunder. |
| Lindsay W scored 3 runs and
had a solid double against the
Diamonds on Saturday. |
| Taylor S had several good
plate appearances getting 2 RBI and
scoring a run. |
